Trophies

As of June, we will be recognizing 'Employee of the Month' each month. The employee of the month will be nominated by our Delivery Associates from a list of our monthly top performers. A top performer is identified by route completion, minimal package returns, team rescue support, efficient route completion and overall team-player attitude. Complete your June nominations by selecting the below link. Nomination deadline date is May 29, 2021.

Safety Tip

As we approach the summer months, it’s important to take every measure to mitigate against heat stress, and staying hydrated is one of the best ways to do so. It’s important to frequently consume small amounts of water – up to 4 cups per hour - when working in the heat. Caffeinated products like soda or coffee cause dehydration, so it’s best to limit consumption of these beverages. Also, did you know drinking too many electrolyte drinks such as Gatorade without eating can cause an electrolyte imbalance? Symptoms of electrolyte imbalance can include nausea, dizziness, and confusion.

Speeding

In an effort to always drive continued enhancement to safety measures for our Delivery Associates (DAs) on-road,we want to inform you that we now have an improved ability to monitor speeding events in all company vehicles. This enhancement provides new insights into DAs who are speeding, allowing us to better manage the safety performance of your driving and the communities we serve. Take this opportunity to follow all posted speed limits and local speeding regulations no matter where they are on-road. We've increased our focus on coaching DAs on speeding to ensure all Delivery Associates are maintaining on-road safety.

Seatbelt Safety

It is critical for our driver’s safety that you wear your seatbelt while driving a company vehicle. We track the seatbelt-off rate for all company vehicles once it departs from the parking lot. A seatbelt-off instance occurs whenever the vehicle goes faster than 6 MPH while the DA does not have their seatbelt buckled. Each time a DA does not wear their seatbelt, it registers one event for the DA operating a vehicle. We are not the worst in this category, but there is room for improvement within the team. Be sure you are wearing your seatbelt when operating a moving vehicle.

DVIC Pre/Post Check

As DVIC launches across Amazon stations and DVCR is no longer used in the Mentor app, DAs will still need to use Mentor to record trips and generate a FICO® Safe Driving Score. Employees must not tamper with, disable, or remove any safety devices or hardware, including the Mentor app. Please ensure you are aware of the following:
